age restrictions for body piercing

We only perform anatomy and age-appropriate body piercing at Kutters Edge. These restrictions are listed in the information section for the specific piercing(s).

This includes navel piercing, industrial helix, surface anchors, earlobe (above a first-hole) and advanced ear cartilage sites. Nipple/genital piercing is never appropriate on anyone under the age of 18.

Wanting a certain piercing that will not heal well or that has a high risk of rejecting without evaluation of anatomic shape and size is just not ethical. Especially when there is still potential growth to the body, as with minor children. Even earlobe piercing needs to be done only once a viable ear size has been reached through growth for any site above a standard first-hole.

Our goal is not to disappoint but to provide a life-long piercing service that heals with minimal issues. And we prefer temporary disappointment over regrets that waiting or making more reasonable body piercing choices could have avoided.

We never like to charge cancellation fees. Specal information is listed with certain piercings so to avoid wasting everyone’s time and risking your disappointment.

Please read all of the information listed with a service to avoid these fees.
